Won by One is back!
Sometimes you get what you wish for! I am so excited at this moment that I can barely type these words out! Thanks to a comment left this morning, that left a link to http://www.wonxone.com/, all the world seems right again!
After a 5-year absence from the Southern Gospel music scene, the name Won by One is once again poised to become one of the biggest group names in the industry. Original founder and tenor, Greg Shockley, along with bass-Paul Hyde, lead-Mike Whetsel, and baritone-Bob Jenkins have already been in the studio laying down tracks of pure heavenly sounds. You can get a small taste on their music clips page. I was thrilled to hear one of my favorites again, King Jesus. This group has that traditional quartet sound that I love so much! I can't wait until these guys start booking dates and performing. Since they are based out of Morristown, hopefully they will have some local dates I'll be able to attend.

Hello my brother. If you are near the Morristown area, on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at First Baptist Church, Morristown, TN. "Won By One" will be in concert for the first time in five years. We are performing a benefit concert for the Hamblen County Substance Abuse Coalition. Looking for the Gospel group, Won by One. What happened to their online site? Are they still performing? How can I get information on them?

I would love to get information on Won by One. I have seen them in concert many times at my church. This has to be one of my favorite groups ever. Still listen to their cds and Christmas cd. Listen to them so much it is time to find new ones. Can't wait for new cd's from you guys. May God Bless You
I heard that the group's owner just couldn't make the commitment needed to hold the group together.
I saw won by one in concert about 10 years ago, i still have the tape i purchased. i listen to every sunday as i am driving home from work. the music has brought me so much peace through the years. won by one sang at a small church in gastonia, nc. i hope the group can get back together, i would love to see them again in concert. when the group sang ' still small voice' it was amazing. thank you for the music. karen. gastonia, nc
